New beginnings. After a dark pre-spring, things are finally starting to look a lot brigther here in Iceland. Both literally in terms of daylight and because the spread of the virus has slowed down quite a bit. In the past week, we had many days with 0 new confirmed cases, and the other days around 1-2 cases. When you go around Iceland, things are starting to look a bit more normal, fewer face masks, gloves and a general feeling of people being more at ease. Lets hope this positive development continues here as well as in many other countries! Happy weekend folks! #iceland

This is my first post in 2020 and even if it’s a little late, I wanted to start by wishing you all a happy new year and welcome to the new decade. After a tough year of contemplation, personal growth and a lot of work, it’s been great to chill over the holidays and disconnect as much as possible. We’ve now entered 2020 and the first page of a new chapter, and it’s something I have been looking forward to for a long time. For months, I have been sensing a lot of change in the air – both for myself and for the world. Very curious as to how has 2020 started for you guys and how you feel things are headed? #iceland

Here we go again! It‘s been another long silence on the feed and my last post was back in January. It seems like every time that I say I‘m going to become more active on Instagram again, life takes some kind of crazy turn that consumes all my energy, time and resources. (Haha, maybe I should just say the opposite and see what happens)? ? Lets cut a long story short and just say that I was expecting 2020 to be epic, and it turned out that life gave me more than I’d bargained for, especially on a personal level. Now finally, it seems like things are turning a bit sane again and I’m so stoked to start with more storytelling from here in Iceland and the Arctic in general – or should I say the opposite, stoked for no posts at all? (fingers crossed this reverse psychology stuff works ?) OK, honestly, it’s soo good to see you guys here on the platform and I’m really curious to hear how everyone is doing?! Also, as random as this time has been for me, here’s an equally random collection of photos! It’s good to be back peeeps! #iceland

In just a few days, Iceland opens up again to the world. I’ve really enjoyed getting the chance to visit some of these classic spots without any people, and I managed to experience a kind of serenity that I haven’t felt in these places before. And even though this has been an interesting experience, it’s also been a very sad time; where the absence of tourists has been a stark reminder of the terrible situation the world has been dealing with. Hopefully, we’ve turned a corner now and there are brighter times ahead. ☺️✌️#iceland
